Shipping of our 2010-2011 seasonal influenza vaccine Fluzone® Influenza Virus Vaccine began in the U.S. following marketing clearance granted by the US Food and Drug Administration on July 23, 2010. This first shipment, the first of over 70 million doses the company plans to deliver to U.S. health-care providers this season, was directed primarily to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for use in the federal Vaccines for Children Program.
